Antitrust: Magistrate fines Google 4 bln rbl for unpaid penalty
MOSCOW, Jun 27 (PRIME) -- A Russian magistrate has fined Google double, or 4 billion rubles for non-payment of an earlier punishment, the Federal Antimonopoly Service said on Tuesday in a statement.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service in February 2022 completed consideration of an antitrust case against Google for obscure, non-objective, and unpredictable rules of blocking of accounts and content on YouTube.
The watchdog found the company guilty of abusing its dominant position on the market of services of the video hosting and slapped a 2 billion ruble fine.
